The best "chemical" to use is pure old Sulphur (drug store) or Lyme (landscaping/grass - powder is better than pelletized). These enable quick decomposition without as much mess. You could even put them directly onto the poo without putting into a bucket if you want. Most importantly you dont have to pay the "sucker" prices for adverteesed poopy cleanup.

Yes I have seen this advertised. Basically it is a plastic bucket with holes in it. You sink it into the ground.
You put the doggy poo into this bucket and pour some magic fluid over it, then the poo is dissolved and seeps through the ground. It permeates the soil. I guess it works in the same way as a seprtic tank.
only ever sen it in adverst but yes, you DO get them.

Yep, i use one of these pooh buckets. You have to dig a great big hole in the ground, line it with big stones, for drainage. Underneath and round the sides. then fill the rest of the hole in with earth. Pop the pooh in and add water and the chemical provided once a week.

True, I don`t remember the name of it though, it was like bucket with a grid at the bottom, It`s sunk in the ground and you put the "oggin" in and sprinkle "this" chemical on top and left it. It worked wonders, especially with a big dog. :o)

I have not of that method but you can buy from pet shops poop bags and pooper scoopers. You just scoop it up and put it in the bag then take it to public places like parks etc. There is usually a bin to put it in.

Why don't you just get a little shovel and put it in a bag and put it in the bin? I do. I've got two dogs and clear up the lawn everyday.
