I never sold my soul. Is it worth much?
Seriously, your hyperbole doesn't help your case any. It's not as black and white as you portray. Can I ask you why you would sell your soul by rejecting the truth of Allah? Vishnu? The Flying Spaghetti Monster?
I rejected no truth. If Jesus was the truth, then I would know it. Jesus would make sure that I know it. Give me the truth, and I won't reject it.
This applies to most everything. I don't reject the truth of leprechauns. I just don't have a reason to believe in them. Same thing with Jesus. Would you buy into something that you can't know is true?

Non-sequitur.
I know I have eyes, I do not know I have a soul.
And as to whether the gospels are to be relied upon at face value, well, I put many years of study into that, before concluding the answer was no.
How well up are you on the history of the bible and of the Christian church?

Don't get me wrong... I'm a Christian too and I believe in Jesus Christ... but this usually makes people feel like you are forcing them to accept christianity... what you said means absolutely nothing to people who don't believe Jesus and it makes it seem like you are really trying to force christianity upon them... becoming a Christian is a choice... as a Christian, you should simply just show Jesus' love through your actions... then if somebody asks you about Jesus or what it is to be a Christian then you can answer their question in a respectful manner... be sure to listen to what they have to say too.

stop proselytizing!
First of all, who said I wouldn't sell my eye?
Maybe you wont sell yours. Make no such presumptions about me!
And furthermore, I didn't sell my soul, cause I never got a check in the mail for it!
Jesus is not god, he was a man, who lived and died. Period. If you want to believe something spiritual about him, that's your choice. Don't assume to place your spiritual burdens on me!

Doesn't the Bible say "If thine right eye offend thee, pluck it out?"
I'm an organ donor. I would give my eyes, both of them, for free. If someone I loved was blind and needed one of them, I would give it to them, because I have two. And I can do that without having a soul.
Perhaps chromosomes gave you your eyes...just a thought.

I'm guessing this isn't really a question, but rather a plea for folks to Christianity.

What the hell are you talking about? So, you're saying you'll go blind for something you have a feeling exists, but don't really know for a fact?
Awesome. I'll keep my eyes and my soul, thanks.

You are asking me to worship a fictional character so that something you have no evidence for doesn't get sent somewhere for which there is also no evidence.
And you think we're the crazy ones?

Right, that whole Jesus part is where you slipped out of reality. See, reality is what matters in decision-making.
