For example, people are made out of dirt and come to life when Zeus breathes life into their form. The Nephilim in the flood story sound an awful lot like the Titans in Greek Myth. Any thoughts on this similarity? Can you think of any examples where a story in the bible parallels a story from the ancient Greek religion?

If anything, that helps to support the ancient stories of the Abrahamic religions. All regions in the world have strangely similar fables and moral tales.

These men existed. If you want to believe that their adventures were chance or lessons from God is up to you, but you cannot deny that they did exist and their tales WERE relayed through time.

In Islam we believe that there were many prophets through out time. We only know of those related through the Quran , but it is said that they were numerous. God sent his message out and more often than not people distorted or mis-understood the message shortly after the death of their leader. Why God chose the middle east I don't know, but for what ever reason we have been the keepers of religion through out history.

Virgin birth, birthday 25 December, walking on water, betrayal by those close to them, crucifixion, comming back to life after death. These themes exist in the life of Dionysus but also Bacchus, Mithras, Osiris and some other ancient godmen I can't remember now.
