Well if adult content is wanted their are adult places for that. There are children here. There is freedom of speech up to a certain point here but there is no total free speech anywhere. Notice how the comments on yahoo news stories went away? Thats because people cross the line. They contribute nothing but hatred and garbage and ruin it for others.

Y!A is a private computer network. See TOS agreement, which reads, in part, "You understand that by using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable".
Ya, I'm on the soapbox..we all agreed to the TOS and community guidelines, which state that Y!A is a private network and does have standards to which we must adhere.
We have all had deleted posts due to Y!Ainfants _NOT_ understanding the part of TOS that I posted above and flagging something 'violation'.
It seems that Y!A uses keyword identification to find/delete posts and it takes only a single word on the 'bad' list to cause a deletion, _if_ it is caught.

Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing but when used as a weapon against people who differ with your ideas, beliefs, race , or politics and is intended to insight hatred against others it is not welcome in an open forum. You have the right to your opinion but verbally bashing and slashing others is not acceptable behavior. Assaulting others with offensive language is also unacceptable.

there is no freedom of speech on private property. what you can post on the Internet is a privilege... not a right granted by the constitution.

If you're so worried about it, join YALF. They'll be happy to take in another member (so to speak).
