I had a car crash and I was drunk and I think I saw God and I have to join a religion. I asked you guys what ones to go to and I am trying the church out of town. I have to walk because cops took my license and it's long way away. I got a ride with some guy to the church --I don't remember what it is, but not christian and not catholic but starts with P and had cross..
They told me I couldn't come in because I hit a lot of people and the families were there and I hit a lot of stores and cars when the cops chased me, and said I was drunk, but I'm NOT DRUNK NOW! I saw God after i crashed up the cars and anyways they said if I drink or do anymore drugs I'll go back to jail.
They locked the doors and I say why are you locking the doors, if you're going to be this way I'm dont care. I'm back at the library now, and I can take out hindu book with the pictures but its stupid and i like it but theres no god in it I don't think.
islam and jew books i can't take out. can take out hindu

You don't need a church to worship or believe in God. It sounds like you may have a lonely spiritual path to walk.

First, I can understand if the church where people you nearly killed go don't want you to go there
Second, If you can't understand that, you're an idiot.
Third, pick a religion, any religion will be fine. But if you believe you saw the Christian God then you are limited to Christianity, Judaism or Islam. All these religions worship the same God.
Being drunk is not an excuse for what you did. If you are truly repentent, keep looking for a church and you will find one that will accept you.

There is an obvious problem to this story
You were drunk + you saw god.
i think sir..that you were just drunk...
and as far as the church story goes..that is sad!!! im sorry. even as an agnostic i believe that you should still be forgiven for what you do.
now if you are really looking for religion..i hate to tell you that most christian secular are going to be that way. especially the hard core ones. BUT as an ex-christian I can also advise you to just look for a non-denominational church as they seem to be less judgemental, more friendly and accepting. Or maybe thats just cause I live in Texas..
but honestly id say...just stay away from it all together. thats just my opinion.

I don't understand being out on parole if you were just charged, unless you are recently released from prison.
As far as losing your license, that's a reality of what happens when you drink and drive. As far as hurting people, I hope that if what you say is true, that you come to feel truly sorry for your actions.
I would really suggest you look into AA or some other recovery program. If you're looking for a spiritual program, start by figuring out who you are without drinking first.

Are you sure your not drunk now? What did God look like when you saw him? and why does it conclude that because you saw God you must find a religion.
True Christianity is about love and forgiveness but I could understand why it would be hard for the victims' families to see you at this point.
If you're sure that it's what God wants then pray to whatever God you saw a surely he will help you.
You don't have to be religious to follow God. God can be personal to you.

LMAO you can be religious and not belong to a church. Those people, the ones that shut you out...they are the reason most people think of Christians as hypocrites. They preach good will and have nothing but spite inside. Calm down, leave the library and go home and take a few deep breaths and be thankful you aren't a hypocrite.

I never heard of such, but if one door closes another opens. Try an Assembly Of God, Pentecostal Holiness, Non Denominational or Independent Assemblies church. I think you will be welcomed in any of those. I wish you the best.

yikes!
You dont need a church or mosque or temple to communictate with God. If you saw God, God saw you too. What happens between you and your higher power does not need to be sanctioned by ANY religion whatsoever!
