If you mean the feeling of being a member of a group (or in this case couple), then yes, you belong to each other. This form of belonging brings comfort and acceptance.
If you mean the feeling of being a possession, then no, this is not love, it is jealousy. Jealousy is not love, it is a form of control.

Not necessarily. Being in love doesnt mean u actually belong to someone, what if u are in love with 2 persons at the same time, then would you belong to them both. Yes u will FEEL like u belong to someone else BUT you dont actually BELONG to the other person until you get married.

Yes. Love has loads of benefits and one of them is that you're united and feel as if you belong together. But remember belonging does not mean you have to be in each others pockets 24-7, lead your own life still and feel secure your other half belongs to u.

Control is never a good thing in a relationship, i.e. one dominates the other. Although there is the other sense of the word Belonging, as in you fell completly comfortable with your partner and feel as though you belong, as opposed to being a belonging!

it's not that kind of belonging it's like you love to have some one to count on and to feel that him or her is all yours and just belong to you and he is a part of you when you need this someone it's a really good feeling to have

Sort of, you do feel like you belong together, but not sure if you should feel like someone belongs to you! That might be a bit to clingy!

Of course they don't belong to you. People aren't personal property, that is called slavery and they abolished it a long time ago. You would however have a mutual respect for one another. Does this seem like it is more realistic?

i belong to my husband but he doesnt belong to me - and even before we were married this is the way it was with us
that doesnt mean that he isnt faithful - he is and always has been - but as far as belonging goes it is just me belonging to him
i belong to him and obey him - he knows best and makes all the decisions - that suits us both very well
