This is an interesting question, so please don't remove it. My daughter is 17 and sometimes I think her brain/emotions/behavior is a little "behind" also. And believe it or not, she has found a special guy who seems to be the same way. It's weird, because they were both born premature and born just a few days apart from each other. So they are much on the same level and perfect for each other.

My advice is to find a guy who accepts you for all your good qualities and don't worry, you'll eventally catch up. But whatever you do, don't let a guy take advantage of you. If you are "young-minded" 18-year-old, you may lack poor judgment in some situations, so don't let a guy pressure you to have sex or do drugs or anything like that, okay?

Guess what girl, we all have that child in us, so accept it, however, there is that case of being immature, and if you are immature than yes you need to grow up a little, and accept responsibility for your child like behavior.

I have been told by senior citizens that their thinking is the same as when they were younger compared to their current age.

As a guy, I don't see anything wrong with you acting younger for your age as long as it does not reflect immaturity (not being responsible).

your brain is the same age as your body.
your MATURITY LEVEL is what you need to work on.
i am 21. if you acted 18 i might date you.
if you act 14 or 15 definitely not.
work on it. growing up is part of life.
good luck.
