The secret to passing tests is preparation; in other words, study. Study alone and study in study groups.

Before you study, however, read the information you will be tested on. Then write from memory what you have read. After that, compare your new notes with what you have read. Read again, and write again what you remember from the reading. Once the information is no longer boring or uninteresting to you, which is likely to happen when you understand it, quiz yourself. Pretend you are the teacher and make a test comprised of fill in the blank questions and multiple choice questions (making up multiple choice questions is really hard). Take a break from the info, maybe a few hours or wait till the next day, then take your own test. By the way, you will have to make an answer key for easy grading. Make sure you include the page numbers where you found your answers to verify that your test responses are correct.

Once you feel pretty confident about your knowlege on the topic of the test, pretend you are a teacher and in actual words, tell yourself what you know.Once you have the hang of it, teach what you know to someone else. Finally, discuss what you know with someone who knows more than you do about the topic. That way you can have good interchange and you can really internalize the information.

My point is that in order to really learn something and be confident about what you know, you have to be able to teach it. Teachers are good at what they do because they know the material; they prepare well. They also are knowledgeable about particular topics because they are expert at it. They are expert because, basically, they teach the same thing over and over, year after year. The things that change are the receivers of the information and the manner in which it is delivered. Teachers have to adjust their teaching technique to suit the learning styles of their students.

I guarantee you that if you teach whatever it is that you are trying to learn by first interanalizing it, it becomes solidified in your brain and becomes a part of you you.

Don't mistake cramming for learning. Don't mistake memorization for learning. They are not the same as learning! Cramming means "fast in," and like fast food, it means "fast out." Remember is the opposite of forget. Just as you are likely to remember, you are likely to forget.

Learning is like knowing your name. The only way you are likely to not know what your name is is for you to have a trauma to the head or lose your ability to process information.

Test:
Quite! What's your name?
Did you have to think about
the answer?

Quick! What did you study in class
today?
You had to think about it;
didn't you, and you still don't
remember do you?

Quick! Where were you born?
Again, you could answer
without thinking; didn't you?

You can tell when you know something by how quickly and accurately you provide information. When you know something, you know you can past the test on it... any test!

So take my advice and any advice that others give you that works for you to help you past your tests. Partner up with people who want the same or similar goal that you want, hopefully an A or B, and study with them. There is no law that says you have to go it alone. Learning is FUNdamental! What better way to have fun than with friends who have your best interest at heart?

The last point from this veteran teacher who was not always an A student: If you are not having fun, you are not learning, so learn and have fun at the same time, and you will see that you will pass every test that comes your way.

Good luck, Smart Student! Show them what you got! Show them what you're made of!

i do no longer think of that is particularly a risk to run secret assessments. In F1 no longer something can particularly be stored a secret. everybody is guaranteed to confirm what's occurring no longer without postpone. Plus, Bernie or Max ought to sent in a secret agent team to envision if the communities are follwing the regulations. i ask your self what the excellent spies would be called.

Get index cards and to each post a question on one side and the answer on the other side, to the book or outline you're reading, and go through them as much as two to three days before the test, and most especially within an hour before it -- Then the answers will be fresher on your mind.

The secret to any test is to study hard enough and long enough so you know the answers to all the questions.

Dont study the night before. It takes time to truly learn new material. When you learn somwthing new, review some a little each day until you can teach it to others, then you know you truly got it =)
