I realize that you have to have standards - lord knows i have them too. I just wondered. I've heard of "chubby chassers". But from a health point of view, these are really a curvy girls worst nightmare.They be at your funneral before they even have a chance to kiss you. Just wondering.

If I was a guy, I wouldn't mind going out with any girl if:
1. She had some seriously sexy confidence about herself.
2. Her health wasn't in danger because of her weight.
Skinny or chubby --- If you fulfilled the above two, I'd be interested.

I'm sorry, but both my husband and I are considered 'obese' ... although he 'looks fatter' than I do, and we are both 'old enough to know better' but have chosen to 'eat as well as possible' while also eating as 'healthy' as possible. I don't think you should include 'chubby chasers' in your 'standards' because they are actually mostly men who 'chase chubby girls' so they can use them to get sex, but who really 'want' a nice thin girl to 'show off' when they get married. I believe that people who decide who they want to see, date, marry on 'the physical view' of a person before they 'look inside at what is in that person's heart and head' is doing it ALL WRONG. MY 'ideal' for looking at a man is tall, thin, with thick dark hair. My 'ideal' for a husband is relatively short, fat, and bald ... and he is the BEST MAN IN THE WORLD to me. I know that I am a woman, and he is a man ... but what goes for 'the goose' should also 'go' for the 'gander' ...

There is someone out there for everyone. Just be patient and the right person will come along for you and will love and appreciate you for who you are inside and not based on outward appearance. Men are very shallow creatures when it comes to physical features of a woman, but some of these men need to take a long hard look in the mirror before they judge outer beauty.

I'm on the heavy side... even borderline obese at some points in my life... but never ran out of men. I have friends who are pretty and skinny but who gets to meet more men? Moi! And we all agree.. its the confidence and the personality my dear! I may be plump and full, but you will not notice it when you see me... you'll see a sexy woman who enjoys having fun yet is grounded and decent. I am perfectly healthy too! I don't let the love handles bother me... Say goodbye to your insecurities and prejudiced mind! Enjoy life!

They will be, because I'm chubby. =P Seriously, the guy I eventually marry (if I get married) will have to think the world of me and how I look. Otherwise I won't date him.
Being chubby isn't the mos unhealthy thing in the world. Starving yourself to death is much worse, and looks very creepy. As long as I'm healthy and like the way I look, what do I care what a guy thinks?

If a guy doesn't like you because of how you look or what you weight do you really want him? I know there has to be some sexual attraction in the beginning, but your personality is what really counts. (sorry for sounding like an after school special!)

some only go for the hotties. some dont care about what you look like or anthing. thoes are hte nice guys. they only care aboutt what is on the inside. and that is all that matters.
so when the right man comes along he will love you for who you are.
if you realy care then do a weight loss program thing.

huh? your addendum threw me off there with the whole funeral kissing thing but okay. there are men out there attracted to voluptious women. you just gotta know where to look. me not being too voluptious wouldn't know where to find these dudes but all the big girls i know gets asss like there aint no tomorrow ... gotta love my big girls!
