u can actually make really cute waves w/ the straightener! if it is the skinny long ones.
get like a 1-2 inch piece of hair. take the iron and start at the top, then start twirling it around as u pull downwards. keep the straightener either facing upwards, or a 45 degree angle. it actually gives a really pretty wave/curl! good luck.. practice. try not to keep it in one spot too long as the straighteners get HOT.

If your hair is naturally wavy, it's pretty simple. After you wash you hair, use a diffuser to dry it. (The diffuser can either be a separate hair dryer or a special attachment). Get a curl enhancer spray or other curling product (Aveda has some great ones called "Be Curly" if you don't mind spending some $$) and scrunch up your hair with your hands while you're drying.
I usually straighten my hair too, but when I do it this way instead my bf LOVES it. Good luck!

I have wavy hair too, but I straighten it a lot. Here is what I do to create natural waves when I want them! I use a curls and waves shampoo and conditioner(like Herbal Essences Totally Twisted...cheap but good!) After I shower, while my hair is still wet, I add a drop of shine serum and work it in. Then I use a really light gel(Dove Weightless something.....) and scrunch my waves. Then I finger comb them, and re-scrunch.Then I wrap my head in a towel for a half hour. Then I blow dry my hair with a diffuser. It works for me! I hope I helped you, and good luck!

Well, I think the best way to get natural looking waves is to wash your hair before bed and then put it into a braid. When you take it out the next morning it will be very wavy and pretty, all you have to do to it is comb through with your fingers and maybe spritz with hairspray if needed. I do this all the time and get lots of complements for it.

Before you go to bed wash your hair, then run a styling cream through your hair, then tightly braid about 5 or 6 braids into your hair.
When you wake up, spray with hairspray and remove the braids. It works well for me, sometimes I use the curling iron to fix places that arent as wavy as others.

I have naturally straight hair, so what I do is wet my hair down completely, towel dry, and start scrunching(in case youre not familiar with scrunching, its grabbing handfuls of hair in a tight fist, always grab hair from tips to roots, all they way up, this gives you a great wave) it with a bit of gel in the palms of my hands. After working the gel through, start blow drying your hair but keep scrunching until its dry. Do this bending over so that your hair is flipped over your head. This adds extra volume as wavy hair is gorgeous with a little bounce.Just go crazy all over your hair with tight scrunches. I do this all the time, and every time I get all kinds of compliments. Just dont add too much gel, that makes it look wirey and stiff and fake. Good luck.

Well it depends on the texture. You can try the curl activators (liquedy gel), they use for those who get the curl perms even though your hair is natural. It also makes your hair grow very fast. Wave Neuvo isnt so grease. Also this thing at JC Pennys salon , BUTTERTREAT BY REDKIN is good to help frizz. Also frizz control FANTASIA products in the hair store. Let us know.

If you have some one show you how to use rollers that would help a lot and same time. After a few tries there pretty simple and you well get the hang of it.
