What makes you believe in your religion? Is it that it's so believeable or is it just that you were born and raised to believe it and you were therefore conditioned into thinking it was right? It's one or the other, people.

Hmmm, to answer your original question - evidence.

I don't believe in religion, so I can't answer that one, though I am aware that the environment you are raised in has the biggest effect on our conceptualization of the world.

most people are raised into a religion therefore it is natural to belive in somthing. but as you get older you can decide if it is right for you or not. some you just have to go with what is in your heart.

I began developing my spiritual belief system as a kid. Those beliefs continued to develop as I grew older. In the beginning, I "believed" just because I wanted to follow those older than I was. As I matured, I learned more for myself and stuck to what I learned from others and for myself.

I´m quite sure that God was so angry that Adam and Eve ate an apple, that he told them not to eat, that he decided to punish every living human to ever to exist after that...instead of punishing Satan (his favorite angel)

Isn´t that what any good person would do?

The fact Jesus will torture us in hell if we don't believe in him is enough for me. When Jesus returns to get his revenge, do you really want him to rip your heart out. Or would you rather stand behind him.
