I've heard of feather teather, flight suits, the aviator, but which is the best? I know flight suits arent good because they arent meant to be harnesses, but feather teather and the aviator? which one would be better for my cockatiel? does anyone know anything about the aviator?

Go to Avian Fashions (www.bird-diaper.com). They have wonderful flight suits with poop catchers. This keeps your house clean too. You can buy optional liners to extend the time they can wear the suits to up to 6 hours.They have ring adaptors that attach so you can hook leashes, lanyards or anchor lines if you want to go outside.

Both are good products. I think the trick is to get it on the bird. Doctors Foster and Smith offer flight suits and figure 8 feather teathers. 1-800-443-1160. These people are very helpful Have a tweet year.

I have the Flight suit with lanyard and find that it is heavy for my birds, even though one of them really likes it.
The rest of my birds use the The Kaylor Collar Bird Harness from http://www.fredbird.net/index.html
I am really happy with it. It has lighter hardware than most of the other harnesses so it is easier on my birds.
