According to the Bible, all people today descended from the survivors of a great Flood - Noah's family, who in turn descended from Adam and Eve (Gen 1:11). There are many stories, from many parts of the world, of a great Flood that only several people survived to repopulate the earth.
But today we have many different groups, often called "races" with what seem to be greatly differing features. The most obvious of these is skin color. Some see this as a reason to doubt the Bible's record of history. They believe that the various groups could have arisen only by evolving separately over tens of thousands of years. However, this does not follow from the evidence.
The Bible tells us how the population that descended from Noah's family had one language and were living together and disobeying God's command to "fill the earth" (Gen 9:1, 11:4). God confused their language, causing a break-up of the population into smaller groups, which scattered over the earth (Gen. 11:8-9). Modern genetics shows how, following such a break-up of a population, variations in skin color, for example, can develop in only a few generations. And there is good evidence to show that the various groups of people we have today have NOT been separated for huge periods of time.
One could say there is really only one race - the human race. The Bible teaches us that God has "made from one blood all nations of men" (Acts 17:26. Scripture distinguishes people by tribal or national groupings, not by skin color or physical features. Clearly, though, there are groups of people, who have certain features (e.g. skin color) in common, which distinguish them from other groups. We prefer to call these "people groups" rather than "races," to avoid the evolutionary and racist connotations that have become associated with the word "race."
All peoples can intermarry and produce fertile offspring. This shows that the biological differences between the "races" are not great. In fact, the DNA differences are trivial. The DNA of any two people in the world would typically differ by just 0.2%. Of this, only 6% can be linked to racial categories; the rest is "within race" variation.
This genetic unity means, for instance, that white Americans, although ostensibly far removed from black Americans in phenotype, can sometimes be better tissue matches for them than other black Americans.

Adam and Eve weren't white. They would have looked like people in Iran look today. In between the Tigris and Eurphrates river is where the craddle of civilization began. If the people living there now aren't white, that must mean that Adam and Eve weren't either.

either evolution existed (though not necessarily from monkeys, maybe just from one type of human to another), or Adam and Eve weren't the only or first humans. God might have separated them out from the human race which at that point was becoming conscious of God (above animal status). There could have been other races already at that time, or when humans dispersed after the tower of babel, races could have developed. From what race though? Who knows. If the cradle of civilization was in Iraq, then we probably looked like the iraqis did back then.

who said Adam and Eve were white? who really cares what colour they were?

if they were anything, they'd probably be either a mix of everything, or a colour lost to the sands of time. And enthicity may have come about as a result of genetic variance, as children are born with different pigmentations, and pass similar traits along to their children. When you have people with a certain strong trait reproducing, their children are likely to have that trait and thus produce a race.

it's speculated that "pure" races didn't start until after Noah, as his son's names actually meant different colours: Ham (halm)- dark, Shem - middleskin, Japheth - fair. And they had wives, so the races probably started with their children.

Well.. we never really know what color they were.. but they do seem as they were portrayed as white people.. but that doesn't mean that they were.. God created every single person on this earth, we will never know how he created so many aboriginals... but He did.. remember He's the perfect one, we're not.. we can't wrap some things around our brains..
But the most amazing thing is that He did it.. and He loves us no matter what we do...
Thats grace..
We might never have all the answers to every question.. but we need to trust Him..

I think they were probably more of a Hispanic color and I think that the mark put on Cain when we was banished to Nod was to make him black, so really to me I wonder where the plain white people came from.

I have not proof to back these theories up, they are just what I believe.

Do you honestly believe that there was an Adam and an Eve? It just makes no sense to me.

Now lets look at your theory about all the different ethnic looks, would'nt it make more sense, that we would all be of some sort of alien race or descendants. The different races and looks could be that they came from different universes or different solar systems?

It's so funny to me that a person can believe in an Adam and Eve theory, and cannot see past this? My goodness, think about this theory? How could it be any less ridiculous then us coming from an Alien Descent? This is at least more realistic, then woman being created from a mans rib and the world in eternal damn nation all because one person ate an apple, because a serpant/snake told her to. LOL OMG

People of today and this century are still caught up in needing to belong to something and be told how to get from point A to point Z? Funny how powerful those old political ways were then, and still carry so much weight even now. And how people of today, are so oblivious to it.

If a God would've created two such people (Adam and Eve), then why would he punish them to eternal hell and everyone else in the world suffer this fate for someone Else's choice and mistake? (wake up)

Isn't God an all forgiving God?

And God who is all forgiving, would cast down to hell one of his own angels (Lucifer/the Devil), why didn't he forgive him? Or, why didn't he just zap him? Why would he allow him to reach so many people and torment and spread evil to all. How political does that sound? And are we the people, still that ignorant/stupid?

If God is so awe empowering why didn't he just zap the two and start over? Who would ever have known? And, why would he start out to tease, taunt, and make the two live in the torment of, "you could eat all of that, but not that." Why? (not good enough. A God wouldn't do that, but a selfish man would.)

And, why punish "all the world to damn nation? And why have to make a woman from a mans rib? No---the reason is silly, and in this day and age... it just doesn't cut it anymore. Maybe way way way back then it did, cause if you didn't conform they would kill you or burn you as a devil or as a non believer. And make a mockery of you as an example, as to what happens when you don't comply to a bunch of political bullies trying to own the world. Gee... kind of like today.

These sound to me, like the really really old ancient ways of the world. Way back, when woman were no more then slaves to man, and man fought all of civilization to be top dog.

And a book from God?

Could this too, be written by a bunch of crocked politician bullies, who may have had a vested interest in you following it? (to keep people "under" their thumb?) hmm, kind of like hell.

And followed by whom? The less fortunate, and weaker of the bunch of society that choose to not conform. This great book was great for the ones in charge. It kept and still keeps people under a certain way of being that benefits whom? "Think about that one"...

It makes more sense to me, that man would create a book and tell people right from wrong. Create guidelines to be followed. To keep us all in order, and in a controlled environment.

"ACCORDING TO WHOSE WAYS" & "WHY"?
And how much control? (just look around the political arena for starters, and whom do they really work for?) Just a thought.

Certainly, they care about your well being so much... Do you have health insurance, or car insurance for example? If they really cared, would'nt it be the Godly thing to do, to give all people these things, when they may be at a low point in life, or lowest point with a terminal disease or something? Oh wait, that darn Eve ate that darn apple...

Just before God flooded the earth and only eight lived through that event. It is written in the Bible that God did this because of the evil that was going on with unclean spirits of the realm that we can no longer see. They inter mixed with humans and created different human types.

It's not confusing. Jesus is mostly portrayed as a white man, but everyone knows he was not. Biblical art and images is indicative of the artist. Many biblical images were created in Europe during the renaissance (sp), hence most Europeans were white.
