Could go either way. You're best off just finding ways to hang around with her a lot and if she likes you, she should eventually become your girlfriend without you actually having to ask. This is how it happened with me and my boyfriend (mind you, he was 20 and I was 25 so it was a little bit different), don't force it and it could happen without you having to get all embarressed. If she doesn't like you in a girlfriend kind of way, then you'll have possibly made a nice friend there and maybe she'll be able to help you get the next girl.

Let's just slow down a little first, eh? Humans, over millions of years, have invented an amazing talent called speech. It was around along time before E-Mails and stuff! Try asking her (Yes, that means YOU, not one of your mates, you wimp!)
Failing that, try a letter (Pen, paper etc,etc...) and tell her how you feel about her.
With you being so young, take a word of advice from us "Old Folk", be prepared for a little heartache at times!
