Yes. And he should. It's his home and his property. If the boy wasn't on the property knowingly to your dad and with his permission, your dad can do what he wants. You shouldn't go behind your parents' back. Next time ask.

Well if you a minor, living in their home that they work hard to provide, eating their food, wearing the clothes they bought you. Then yes, your parents have every right to press charges. What are you thinking, inviting a guy into your room in the middle of the night (that is 12am, right?). AND you should count yourself fortunate that they care enough to take these measures to protect you, not only from guys, but also from your own poor judgement. Just because you are a good person and a smart person, does not automatically make you immune to making poor decisions.

The first question I would ask you is, How old are you?

If you are between the ages of 12-16 they have every right. You should understand that your parents only want what's best for you and to invite a guy in the house was not only disrespectful to your parents but to you as well.

Obey your parents....they have your best interest at heart and besides its their house-their rules.

If you are under the age of 18 your parents have every right to protect you in any way they can and feel. Even if nothing happend it still looks bad and not exactly innocent. Think about the decisions you make and the consequences. God Bless.

It is your dad's property. He has the right to press charges for someone trespassing in his home in the middle of the night. He is protecting his household from unwelcome intruders, plain and simple.

If he is 18 and you are underage, hoo boy. Did either of you give a minute's thought to the potential consequences in this situation?

They have every right if you are living under their roof and you are a minor. It doesn't matter if nothing happened, the fact is that this guy came into their house at midnight to see their daughter. I give your parents credit for looking out for you.

if you are under the age of 18 your parents have the right. Until you are 18 you live by them and there rules unless the government says other wise, they are probably just doing what is best for there child.

Yes they do!
Are you paying Rent? are you of legal consent? in your state.
You have shown great disrespect to your parents and not a lot
for yourself, if you are of legal consent then get your own place to live then you can have all the men in your room that you would like.

You are 15! Are you crazy!!!!!! Yes, they "does" have the right. Why would you do that anyway? Not a smart move.
Do they know you come on here with the name "Sexy Chick" and ask questions about sex in postions they probably don't use? I'll bet they'd LOVE that. Go tell them right now how cool you are.

How old are you? If you are a minor - your parents have every right and more power to them for taking an interest in what happens to you.
