Just the rock. On a sidenote, I've seen a new trend among engaged men to start wearing their band when they get engaged though, so that when the marriage happens, the girl gets the extra band (or not, there's not always a band), and the guy keeps wearing his. Had to mention that.

It is custom to give the engagement ring for engagement..Then on your wedding day give the band that goes with the engagement ring...
