One of the greatest and easiest desserts is Dump Cake. Every time I make it I have everyone asking what it is and how to make it because they say it is the best thing that they have ever had. Of course, you can change the name.
1 stick of butter
1 box of yellow cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple in it's own juice
1 small bag of chopped pecans (1/2 cup approx)
In a 9 x 13 dish dump in crushed pineapples, then spoon cherries over pineapples. Dump yellow cake mix over cherries. Dump bag of pecans over cake mix. Cut small pieces of butter to cover the top. (I usually try to cover the entire pan. One stick of butter will do it if you cut small squares.) Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. This is great warm, but recommend chilling. Great to serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

I saw a really good one on Foodnetwork.com for smores. Basically you make a grahm crust, bake it, make brownie mix, bake it in the crust, take out right before done, top with mini marshmallows, put in top heat broiler to finish cooking brownies, and this will brow the marshmallows. Check out the sit for the recipe and a picture of the finished product.
