It is not just age, actually the most important things are your partner, your financial situation, your education and career.

As for age I would say the youngest 24-25.

But remember one of the biggest reasons families break up is for fighting over financial problems. Make sure you have enough before you bring a kid into this world.

at the age I started my family....32. I was single, I had a life, I did what I wanted. I lived. And when I was ready, I started a family.
