I work a very demanding shift and Im rarley available during the week. I can only see my GF on weekends. its begining to take its toll on our relationship. I need to work and pay the bills but I dont want our relationship to go under because of it. Should we spend as much time as possible together onn the weekends?

Yes or alteast let her know during the work week that you are thinking about her with little notes, phone messages, or small gestures just so she knows you appreciate her....and on the weekends do include her with as much time as you can...Girls dont need much of your time if they know your thinking about them...sometimes the smallest thought can go a long way...Good Luck!

That's so sweet that your realizing it could affect your relationship. Obviously, you are mature and are not going to quit your 9 to 5 just to have more time to spend with her, so I'd suggest on the weekends do spontaneous stuff. Surprise her and take her somewhere out of town (within your budget of course), just to change things up. It will make a huge difference, and she'll appreciate the fact your so concerned and wanted to do something special.

Spending time with your girlfriend is important. Even just deciding that Sunday will be your day to be together all day is a good idea. And although you are busy at work during the week calling and emailing at least once a day should be a priority no matter what.

I don't understand why this would make the relationship go under? Do you call her through the week? If she can't understand about paying the bills, Oh Well! Or quite possibly she wants u to commit! As in move in, get hitched!

Absolutely!
Out of sight means out of mind. As good a thing it is that you're doing, a woman alone is going to get....well, lonely.
And its gonna cause problems that will spill out in other areas. As tired as I am sure you may be (and I admire your strong work ethic), you are going to have to make a special effort to give her the time she is requiring.....if you really want this to last.
I am sure you need a day on your weekend to relax and rest, but try to do as much with her as possible.

well if your gf cares for you she will understand the situation... or at least she should try to. it's difficult being in a relationship where you can't see each other, but they tend to work out if the peopel involved put in their part of understanding each other. talk it out with her and how she feels about it. obviously you should try to spend as much time as possible WHEN YOU CAN, but if it's just not possible she should understand.
