The Army will allow you to enlist under the GED-Plus program, provided you pass the ASVAB and the physical and are otherwise qualified (moral).

Before you ship out, you will HAVE to get your GED (which the Army will pay for through the GED Plus program)

No, you need a GED minimum. And, even then, there is a small "window" when you are eligible to join. To better your chances you need a GED plus some college, vocational school or certifications (clock hours). With those you can be considered a high school grad.

The Army doesn't take just anybody, this is not Vietnam 69

you're eligible to connect any of the militia with a GED. you're no longer eligible to connect the militia without GED or HS degree. endure in innovations I mentioned eligible. The militia are greater selective than ever until eventually now in accepting enlisted persons. In different words, they do no longer settle for any and all applicants.

I met a Marine back in 94' who joined without either. He had to have a waiver saying he would pursue a GED after Basic and his MOS school. Check with your recruiter.
