Do Mexicans take no pride in being in America?

That artical was written by someone who is trying to further a hate against mexican's.

Not all mexican's "abuse" our system. There are quite a few that are hard workers and take HUGE pride in the fact that they CAN prosper in the states.

My experience is generally, once they have become American, they do show patiotic concern and involvement. But when they come here illegally, they do not. They are Mexicanos. In fact they are smug about those who are Americans. Of course, why should they be any different than 85% of the rest of the world. IT's tough being top dog on a block filled with a lot of whining, pip squeak little pups and curs, who know only the back of the line in all that they have experienced. Things change when you do it RIGHT. Come legally and are given the rule book, expected to recount it and show some evidence in language ability and patience. Some important neccessities in Democracy and it's ways.
This is why this immigration stuff MUST be legal.
Outside of that, we have too many people for our services and opportunities now in the USA. We need to slow immigration way down for a while until we recover our faculties and have things in better control both on the border as well as with the grasping/greedy types that provide so much work for these back of the line group. Our country would be better for it quickly.

did you take a media class in high school? or basic english? this in not an article, it's a blog post. does this sound like a reliable source to you? have you ever heard that phrase "don't believe everything you read on the internet?"

i think people assuming showing pride in your country of origin is somehow a lack of pride for your current country. i don't believe this is the case. sometimes people just miss home. and sometimes people in the new country treat that mexican so crappy that he/she might have a hard time learning to love a country where people act like such jerks.

Funny how that prejudice person/like minded individuals usually can't hold much weight with their bias nonsense. ignorant people anyway pointing at the bad expections without understand and or respecting other Races/Ethnicity and looking at things from a neutral perspective or the whole picture if you will. the illegal Mexicans as well as any other ethnic group that come here, do not come here to "take pride" in America, they come here to take everything else. They can come here to take our jobs, take our housing, take our government benefits, I think the only pride they take, is pride in themselves in being able to come here and take all these things from us and do not have to earn it, like Americans do. I just noticed on Americas Most Wanted that what used to be mostly white and black fugitives have been replaced with mostly ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, if that doesn't do something to convince our government that they increase our crime rate then I don't know what it would take. I am not trying to be one of those people who hate others regardless of their ethnicity, I hate the fact that it seems to be so easy for them to come to our country and take things they have not earned from Americans who usually cannot get the help they need, or the job they need for their families, because the immigrants have gotten there first.

The illegal Mexicans that are coming across our border are doing it just to work and send their money back to Mexico. They don't come here to become Americans or to be proud, the only thing they care about is their family in Mexico and Mexico their country. The majority of them send money back home to build a house so they could go back and live happily. I don't really know, why the Democrats want to give all of these illegals American citizen when they don't care about it. So we all have to wake up and start thinking about our country before these illegals, milked it dry.

Of course they don't take pride in being American! They do not become US Citizens. They don't care about American citizens or American laws. They have no desire to become US Citizens. They just come here to abuse the sytem and think they will get a free ride in the US!!! IT HAS TO STOP NOW!!!!
