Yes. My father is currently suffering from the itches caused in part by his heart and blood medications. He was required to remove all acidic foods like Tomatos etc from his diet to help aleviate the itch. It worked. Uric acid in the blood also causes itchey symptoms in some people. Get with your doctor and ask for a blood test to check for Uric Acid levels in the blood. Its a week long test where you need a urine jug and you need to go in that for like 3 days keeping it chilled in a fridge. The lab will then do the test and see. I suffer from this ailment. I take a medication for it, which reacts negatively with acidic foods. I get the itches when I eat the wrong things like lasagna or pizza.
