How many of you agree?

Question

Do any of you agree with me, that guys should always ask the girls? I'm old- fashioned. I think guys should be gentlemen, and girls should be ladies. I think girls should not reveal their feelings until the guy have exspressed their's. Do any of you agree? If not, why?

I completely agree, but to be fair, I'm older, and was raised that way. When I was a teenager nobody was allowed to date until we were 16, and we were taught that the guy asks out the girls, and we didn't say, "I love you" until they said it to us. And I think those rules should still apply today.

Seems there are more than just yourself that are old fashioned out here, including myself. I agree with you that men should be gentlemen and that ladies, well, should be ladies. But remeber, a woman that asks out a guy does not make her any less of a lady, nor would it make him any less a gentleman for accepting such an invitation. Many men are shy, intimidated by good looking women, and they feel that they don't measure up to a woman of beauty. So if you like some one and think they maybe the person for you, but wait around for that invite you may loose out. Just because they don't ask you first ,does not make them any less of a person. Or any less the gentleman.

I agree to an extent but if you waited around for a guy to reveal his feelings there would be alot more single people in the world....... and if a girl goes for it don't banish her or whatever just cause she's got the guts to say somthing where he doesn't don't shun her like they say "no guts no glory"

Even though the years have changed. I'm old-fashioned myself. I definately agree with you that the guy should express their feelings first. This way I think in time we can tell if they're sincere or not.??

I think if that was the case ...there would be a lot more single people out there...
