Does anyone have experience of Street Gliders and/or Heelys. Would it be better to initially try ther street gliders as the Heelys are very expensive and also children's feet grow quickly. However, don't want to buy Street Gliders for grandchildren if they aren't very good. Help please

I'd say heelys and not street gliders.... heelys are safer... they also do double wheeled ones for younger children/beginners :)

I bought an off brand version of Heelys for my kids, because I did not want to spend the money on heelys, and my kids have worked great. I am not sure if they are Street Gliders, but I would buy the cheaper ones first. That way you can see if they are even going to use them, and if they do then later get the Heelys. That is why I bought the cheaper ones. I did not one to spend that much until I was sure that the fascination was not going to wear off, and it didn't. My 5 year old can even use his the right way. I will probably get them some Heelys later, but my off brands have worked great for my kids.
I might buy the boy the Heelys if the cheaper ones could get him teased at school, but I think the girl should be fine with the cheaper ones first.

NEVER get off brand heelys. The regular Heely's are the safest. You get what you pay for when you buy cheaper heelys. Basicly, you get cheaper quality. Plus Heelys are really durable and will last a long time. I've had my heelys for two years and they look sorta beat up but they still work great, Im suprised I didnt grow out of them. You can get em for fifty bucks on the net easily.

i have had both i love my heelys the most they are alot better but there alot more money mine was 105 dollers that how much i payed for mine
NEVER EVER GET THE OFF BRAND SHOES THEY ARE VERY BAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!
