A high sodium diet, meaning lots of processed foods (canned soups and vegetables, fast food, frozen meals, etc.) Sodium is in just about everything, except fresh whole foods. The salt you add to food when cooking is only a small percentage of the sodium most people get.
Does she have a family history? Is she on birth control? Not getting enough exercise? These could also be contributing to her blood pressure. Being at a healthy weight does not always mean you are healthy.

You didn't say what you blood pressure was but if the doc tells you have high blood pressure then you need to take the medication he prescribed and let him run tests to find out what is causing it. Many things can cause high blood pressure including kidney or circulatory problems. Also if it was only elevated one time say in the docs office that does not mean you have high blood pressure. You might post more information to get better answers here.

During a bone scan my wife had she found out she only had one kidney. If it wasn't for the bone scan she would have never known. So when she had blood work done, she found out her potassium level was too high, giving her high blood pressure. So she has to check all food labels to make sure their is no added potassium chloride, and also to cut down on salt.

1. bad genes 2. bad diet... foods high in sodium (salt), fried food, fatty foods...all these things can cause high blood pressure. If you eat a lot of fast/processed foods, you are getting a lot of sodium
This girl should consult with a doctor, and discuss going to a dietician, if required. good luck!

There are many different reasons why this could happen. It could have been a one time high reading, maybe she was upset or sick or stressed out, it also could have been from some kind of drug she had taken, illegal or not.
