Need more info. Petition submitted by your u.s. citizen parent, spouse, sibling or U.S. citizen child? For example if submitted by a sibling you have a long wait for a visa number to become available, 10-12 years dependent on which country you are from.. If submitted by a Resident Alien spouse, 5-7 years, U.S. spouse 9 months to a year and a half. Next step after approval of I-130 case is sent to National Visa Center for further processing, they will ask that you complete a form DS-230 part 1, that the petitioner send a payment of $70.00 and then complete form I-864, then send the payment of $ 380.00 for the visa then complete form DS-230 part 1 & 2 send to NVC with your birth certificate and other documents. befor your have the interview you need to have a medical exam completed to submit to the consular officials at time of interview.

Sounds like somebody already petitioned you and the Petitioner (petitioner means the person who wants to get you over here in the United States) sent you that Form I-130 (that must be Capital letter of i as in I and not one or 1-130). Fill up all those forms that you received and send them back to your petitioner. Be sure that you will answer all the blanks or the questions without erasures/mistakes that you need to fill up, specially your signatures, so be sure make lots of copies of those forms before to fill up just in case.........You need to ask again on Yahoo!Answers about your question and be specific what you got or received first before the I-130 from your petitioner so that we will know exactly where you at right now. Notice of Action, Form I-130 and letter have a big difference........ If that letter I-130 that you said is a letter of Approval or Notice of Action, then just wait because your petitioner from the United States will send you a letter and Forms to fill up and will tell you what to do, so don't worry. Good Luck and GOD Bless you!

Normally the letter that states your petition has been approved is suppose to also state what you need to do in order to get the visa. Looks like something is missing, or maybe that's just the approval letter and you have to wait for a letter from the US Embassy or Consulate in the country in which you reside now
