from a light brown (natural color) to medium brown and it did not come out as dark on the box. I used to dye my hair this color all the time and it came out darker before, I dont really want to go dark brown because they might come out too dark. I used feria havana brown. Should i wait a couple days and dye again?

You would want to wait 2 weeks, so you want damage your hair.

many things can affect the way a perm or a hair color turns out... if you are taking any medications... the type water you have...your monthly cycle...IE hormones....etc...

you always... should do a strain test... this will help to determine the length of time you leave the color in.
and always... always wait 2 weeks in between processing...this includes perms.
also you can do some prep work before coloring... I like to use a baking soda wash... that is 1 tablespoon of baking soda...mixed with your shampoo... this will strip all the build up off your hair and will leave it fresh for you to apply the color... Or if you like you can buy one of those clarifying shampoos.... but the baking soda works well for me... you can also call the 800 # on the box the color came in... the color experts there can be helpful sometimes.

good luck!
