When a female is much younger (10 - 30 Yrs) than the male in a relationship, why is there always so much negative input from people outside the relationship concerning the sincerity of that relationship? And why is the criticism 10 fold when the young female is a teen? What % of these types of relationships do you think are sincere?

We can assume she would be 18 or older - This is a hypothetical question to understand why society finds this situation to be so appalling..........

hey Pat. The reason i like to date older men is not because i think it makes me look cool to all my friends or whatever... but because their more mature. i myself am very mature for my age. everyone knows that the older you get... the more mature you become (least in most cases). as far as im concerned... society can kiss my @ss. if you love a person... it doesnt matter what anybody else thinks... only how you feel. society gets many things wrong... its only human to do so... people just need to stop worrying how society feels. my family and friends find nothing wrong with how i feel... they understand that its what i want. they have more respect for me. a las appreciates respect and its only right that she gets it... older men seem more capable of giving that to you than an immature boy. older men also provide safety, comfort, and love. they seem to understand all this better.

Its a fact that females mature ahead of males. So if the criticism is 10 fold for female teens, then it should be 60 fold for male teens?! What do outside people care if both partners love each other? Where there is true love, outsiders should refrain and age etc... should not interfere..Love conquers all; even God. By the way, even teens love sincerely! Adolescents are young adults, some even more matured than adults themselves, so why this stereotype? I've loved and truly loved in my adolescence, and i still hold to the one I've loved, love and will love even though I'm not with him.
i do admit that adolescents mostly experience and most of them are just "checking out" each other but yet, we should not generalize. As far as sincerity is concerned, it purely depends on the individual and everyone is unique and not perfect. The minute that we ACCEPT this statement, we wont have expectations or even if we do, we wont dramatize things if ever anything goes wrong.

im 20 year old girl dating a 18 year old guy and you should hear the comments I get and I really do like him.
ok if the girl is 16 that is gross, she needs to be at least 18 otherwise it is no ones business but your own.

I think that people just question the maturity of a teenager. What would a teenager and someone over thirty have in common.
