This goes for pretty much any kind of meat in a slowcooker, you should use about a 1/2 an inch to 1 inch covering the bottom of the slowcooker. measure it by eye. It really helps, using just barbecue sauce it would just burn and dry to the sides. The moisture of the water keeps the food moist and absorbs by the time your ribs will be done. Good Luck on getting some tasty ribs, that sounds really good right now!

If it were me, I wouldn't cook ribs in a slow cooker. They are much better smoked over an open fire pit. But, since you are cooking them in a crockpot, I would suggest enough to just cover them. You may find some recipes here.

u need to put around 1 3/4 cups of water then put wildfire steak sauce in the water and simmer it in the crockpot for around 45 minutes and then add ur ribs and cook them for around 3-4 hours depending on how many ribs ur cooking.
1 rack= 1 hour and a half
2 racks= 3 hours and keep doubling the time every time u add a rack of ribs

, I don't know about any one else, but too much water is like"boiling" the ribs. Yuk. I usually cover the bottom of the crock pot with water then add "at least" a quarter cup of white vinegar then the seasoned ribs and cover, then cook on high for "half" of the time you intend to cook. Then turn to "low", add your sauce and continue cooking the remainder of time. This makes them "soooo" tender. Trust me, they will be delicious and the meat will fall right off the bone. Enjoy!

If you want to boil them in the crockpot, then cover them completely. If you just want to use the water to assist in in the cooking process, add maybe a cup to two cups depending on the amount you are cooking and the size of your crockpot.

Very little- you don't want the ribs to turn out like soup. A small bottle of sauce should do it

Usually when you are using a slow cooker- you want enough liquid to cover the meat.

I use a bottle of BBQ, and a bottle or can of beer. The beer will help break down the meat so it's really tender.
