in our pray as muslims we put all our feelings of frightene of god to respecting his majesty , greatness, for all what he has given us so obviously our emotional feelings are put in it hoping that forgivness would be obtained for our pray but we have something in our religion means that we must not overeact with things we do infront of people becoz we do it for god and only for him we dont care about what people think (look ...he prays very good ...etc) we dont want this to happen so we dont overeact and if it has been said we ask god to accept our pray which is for him and not for people to think good about us...

When you are a baby you can't eat steak, rather you have milk, because that is all you can manage. Trying to explain the heart of a believer who is praying to God with this type of emotion would be the equivalent.

The more emotional the better. When Judgment Day arrives, Jesus will judge people based on how emotional their belief is, and that includes their prayers.
If you often tell Jesus that he is the greatest, and do it with great emotion, your place in Heaven is practically assured.
People who believe in Jesus in a lukewarm manner will go to Hell along with all the people who don't believe in Jesus.

I envy them their concentration, conviction and heart-felt emotion.
Every Yom Kippur, as the day is winding down, I find myself praying the final hours thru a stream of tears. I'd like to experience that more than just once a year.

Each individual is different...I don't really think it matters how emotional someone is while they pray. What matters is WHY they pray and the sincerity behind it.

It usually means that they are not praying enough. When it becomes habit or "by rule" - a person usually does not get so emotional.

I don't feel anything. I feel it's totally up to them if they get all emotional or not.

I don't have a problem with it as long as they are genuinely moved and not just looking for attention.

I tend to keep my distance. If that works for them, if it's meaningful for them, and they're not trying to shove it down my throat, more power to them... but... it creeps me the heck out.

I feel they're overcome with hysteria and are an embarassment.
