EIC should be $963. That's not necessarily the amount of your refund though. The refund depends on what taxes you owe, and how much you had withheld.

It is more complicated than that. If you are paying a mortgage, then that is a factor. How many deductions you claimed on your W-4 also figures in, plus child care costs, medical expenses that exceed 7.5% of your gross taxable income, and a whole bunch of other things. TaxAct Online will do a free federal return for you.
