eat proteins, veggies and stay away from starches and carbohydrates...do not sit around...you may want to mark off 1 mile in your neighborhood and walk it in 15 minutes or less on a daily basis...to lose one pound of fat (you must burn 3500 calories, or not eat 3500 extra calories...if you are 13, then your metabolism should be running about 2500 a day...so you could even burn a pound ever 1.5 days if you ate nothing...if you ate 1500 calories a day, it would take you 3.5 days to burn a pound up...
good luck

Eat whole grains. Stay away from sugar, soda, juices, chips, cookies, etc. Since you are home all day, try to eat five small meals throughout your day. It keeps your metabolism going. And be sure to always eat breakfast, because this starts your metabolism first thing in the morning. Also, if you find that you are not full after eating, before each meal drink a full glass of water. THis will help you to feel full without eating extra food. Try to do crunches, girl push ups, leg lifts, jumping jacks, lots of stretching, too. Also, you do not need weights to lift weight. Grab two can goods and use those. THey are great for toning because they are not too heavy. Good luck and don't let your family sway you.

You don't need exercise equipment all you need is your own body. You can actually start by walking for a half hour every day, but even if you can not do it for a half hour do what you can each day it will still help. If you have water bottles you could use them to do bicep curls inside the house. You can do crunches and push ups all of this requires no equipment at all. As for what to eat you want to eat 5 or 6 small meals a day. Each meal should contain protein and a vegetable as well have plenty of fruit. Drink as much water as you can each day. Stay away from soda and sugary drinks of any sort. Always eat breakfast. If you do this you will see a difference.

Well depending on what country you live in, i would suggest taking a brisk walk/jog before lunch. Not only will this cause you to expend calories, but it will also send nutrient rich blood to your brain to aid in studies, cause you to eat less at lunch and throughout the day and break up the monotany of being at home all day and not getting out to go places. I would also suggest joining a home-schoolers gym class or club and maybe a sports league of your choosing. But definately start with the walk before lunch or breakfast.

First of all only eat when you're hungry. Not when your brain says to eat but when your stomach says to eat. It doesn't really matter what kind of exercises you do as long as you exercise at least 30 min. a day. Go on a walk and jog in intervals. Go swimming or bike riding. Just do something that gets your muscles warmed up and moving.

you know that you can eat up to 6 meals a day, small portions, lay off the sugar carbs , you do not need an exercises equipment what you can do is start walking 10 minutes the first week then increased to 20 minutes and pick up the walking to running before you know if you stick by not eating sugar and crabs, also 8 glasses of water a day and running you are going to look awesome with in 6 weeks, GOOD LUCK

yow! time to walk more... get out more often to break up the dorment fats in your system.

find out how many calories you need during the day... if you're inactive... you don't need as much.. but do get more active.. get on a bike certain times of the day or week... you must sweat and be active at least 4 times a week.. just 30 min. a day will do ya..

eat more fresh foods... more veggies.. more fruits.. do the 5 a day thing.. oh sure it sucks but you'll do much better.. make sure it's fresh fruits and veggies not frozen or canned.

this will help impact the problem you're having..and starting sooner will help you in the long run.

and stick with it.

it will help, believe me.

Go swimming. Take a family member with you. Exercise CAN be fun! There is no need to be embarrassed. I am sure your family is supporting you in your goals. I would be more embarrassed to sit on the couch than to exercise. Good luck and remember you are still growing so don't deprive your body of healthy food.

First, you are going to have to have a change of mind set. Your problem isn't so much as to "what" to eat but "how much". You are going to have to get your mind off eating all time and do something else, like reading or get a good hobby.

AFTER you change your eating habits, then think about what you should or should not eat.

Your whole problem boils down to the fact that you are eating too much and not getting any exercise.

If you REALLY want a change.....then it is up to you!!
Good luck. Pops

Jump rope, Levi.... and start exercising today instead of tomorrow. Buy a good jump rope- it's an exercise "equipment" you can tuck into your pocket and do whenever- wherever. Eat one bread- instead of three or four... have tuna- instead of steak..... have a green salad or sauteed veggies- instead of potato salad or macaroni salad.... and no juice- sorry. Don't be embarrassed jumping rope... it's a good skill that you will get better and better at the more you do it. It's fun and gives you great benefits to your health.
Oh yeah... drink a lot! Drink at least two glasses of water each meal- one before and one after.
