I took a friend to the hospital that O'D on 5mg Lexapro pills. The doctor keeps asking me how many she took, but I have no clue. Just freaking out, scared, and trying to hold it together...please help!

Everyone has a different tolerance for medicine. What might make you sick, may not make someone else sick. It all depends.

5mg MULTIPLE pills. If her pills were each 5 mg, then taking several number can be dangerous. If you don't know, you just don't know. You're doing the best that you can for your friend. Every person's body reacts to medication in different ways.
Please know that your friend is very sick; physically and emotionally. She will need someone to talk to after this is all over. You may also feel like a secondary victim. Do not feel responsible for this, especially since it sounds like she took them willingly. Do not hesitate to see someone about these feelings.

Even one or two low dose pills can cause an adverse reaction with some people. More so if taken in conjunction with other prescriptions, over the counter medications, and some foods.

I am on 20mg a day, I have a friend on 30 mg a day, but I don't know how much is too much, sorry. I hope everything's ok.

I don't know....I took a dose of 130mg once and got very sick but didn't die...
