After including the $ I received from the unemployment, why did my return decrease? (Everytime I received an unemployment check an amount of $60 was already deducted for tax).

I DO HAVE A JOB NOW, I was talking about including the amount I received last year for a couple of months. I'm asking for an advise here, so please, for those who wants to be rude and judgemental, just don't any response. Not everyone who receives an unemployment benefits chose to be in that position.

Make sure you include the withholdings from unemployment in the payment part of the return.

Adding unemployment to return (even with taxes withheld) often causes refunds to go down because not enough taxes were taken out of the unemployment.

But, yes you have to include it.

There simply was not enough deducted based on your total earnings for the year.
