On the numbers down the side, I've spent about half and hour just pressing the down key! Can anyone help!?

Sigh... press end then the down arrow. It will stop at the next blank space
if blanks row, the above will take you right to the bottom
The same trick can be done with mouseclick for spreadsheet with data.

An excel document's sheet has 65,536 rows and 594 columns. The easiest way to view the last row is to hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and scroll DOWN using the scroll button on your mouse. This will DECREASE the view as low as 10%. Now, instead of using the DOWN arrow key, use the PAGE DOWN key. eventually the computer will beep at you when you have reached the last row. You can then highlight the first cell on the last row, and zoom in to 100% using the toolbar, and you will see that the last row is # 65,536!

Why I decided to answer this, I don't know...but for some reason i felt the need. I held the page down button for about a minute and it stopped at 65536.
