My immediate response is that you are probably an honest and sweet person. Perhaps you feel a bit insecure and feel a need to apologize if you are not satisfied with a particular situation.

I know a man who does the same thing. Basically, he is an unusually kind and considerate person.

What you can do, is count to 10 before you respond and this will give you time to decide if the situation deserves an apology.
Silence can be a very powerful tool.

By the way, if you want people to listen, talk slower and pause occasionally. When you pause, you will notice that you have gained the attention of the listener. They stop to hear what you are going to say next.

It may mean that you are looking for the validation that what they're saying is okay. When you apologize, and your friends tell you you don't need to, you're reassured. If your friends stopped saying, "It's okay, you didn't do anything wrong, we love you," you'd probably stop apologizing so much.
