I am not the type that wants to be the center of attention. So the thought of going to a bar and having to take shots in front of a large group of people is not my idea of a good time. Plus I have 2 girls in my wedding that are pregnant, which I could have us all go eat and then go our seperate ways. I need suggestions of some fun things we can do. Please help!

I was the same. We had several suggestions for ours.
*Wine and cheese party. We had all sorts of different wines and cheeses from around the world.
*A pajama party. Everyone spends the night, pops popcorn and watches all sorts of movies. I would chose sappy chick flicks that you don't want to subject your husband to (but I had a friend who did all horror movies).
*a spa day. spend the day getting group facials, massages, manicures and pedicures. Make sure they have big enough rooms that everyone can be together.
*Vegas trip. Most cities have a real cheap flight to Vegas. take in a show, visit the casinos. Or a Vegas night at someones house with poker, roulette, and blackjack. get a book of games, some real poker chips and a table.
*a day trip. depending on where you live, find a place nearby within a few hours. Rent a big van so all of you can be in the van together and drive to the beach/mountains/zoo. Spend the day taking in the sites.
*if you are the athletic type, take in a ballgame. if you love baseball, try going to the local minor league team. tickets are rather cheap, you can usually get the team to give you autographs, and everyone loves ballpark cuisine!

They all give you lots of together time with lots of opportunity to tell stories. Especially great if some friends are from college while some have known you your whole life. They can all tell stories about you that each other doesn't know.

A bachelorette party is a fun activity that you enjoy (my then-fiance and his friends went whitewater rafting)--you shouldnt do something you hate just b/c it's typical. Pick something you enjoy and run with it! Enjoy!

I hate being the center of attention too, plus, I don't drink, so bar/club hopping doesn't sound fun to me. We are all going to a casino overnight, and out to a nice dinner. Maybe you could do a girls night at home? Or go get pedicures/massages then a nice dinner? Or comedy club?

You can all go bowling together. Or rent a boat and take a river cruise.

I would not exclude the pregnant women from any part of the party. That would not be polite. They can simply choose not to consume alcohol.

How will you not be the center of attention? You're the guest of honor!

My boss of all people threw mine, and it was great. Just a bunch of close friends getting together. She made dinner and we had cake. We played a few of the traditional bachelorette party games. But for the most time we all just hung out and talked and watched movies. It was a great night.
