All caps is generally considered rude. It's harder to read because capital letters look more alike, it's considered to be yelling/screaming. Pretty much every forum and board I've posted on frowns on it, not just Yahoo.
But in other cases I don't understand either what's wrong with a question; there was a neat little question about the color of your house, it was written quite normally, didn't have any offensive replies, was in decorating & remodelling which doesn't seem to me like it's such an incorrect place for it... and when I wanted to look at it again it had been removed. Another very funny poll was deleted too; not a very serious question but at least half the questions in the polls category are 'just for fun'. Sometimes I suspect they remove everything that gets a report without checking if the question or answer is truly offensive... or at least some of the moderators seem to do that, no doubt there are more people working that job and I'm sure there are also a number that do read through and may decide there's no reason to act.

I have noticed some so called rude answers are being deleted while many rude question just stay there. So they're using double standards.

Sorry, George J, but it's their site, so they can do whatever . . . . and if you don't like it, you don't have to play any more.
