So how can I get it onto AV without the use of a Remote? It has no AV buttons... Also, I have no money to get it fixed, so if anybody has any idea of how I can fix it without taking it to a repairman, its appriciated.
Basically:
1) Remote works, sensors dont
2) I want to get it onto AV
3) I need tips on fixing it
4) Its a pacific widescreen TV

Thanks

Just to be certain your remote works the standard test is to hold it against an AM radio tuned near 560 while you test each button. You should plainly hear the remote through the speaker. Also, the infrared beam often blinks visibly if you view it through a camcorder.

Sounds like your TV is in need of professional help. Without any front panel controls outside of the power switch and channel and volume controls, you're hosed.

Reminds me of my cheap 21" TV. Just has power, channel, and volume on the front. Lost the remote. Company wanted $80 for a replacement remote. Fortunately found a universal remote that could do everything, for $20.
