I've been working with a personal trainer. I've had two workouts with the trainer so far and both times about 30mins into my workout I start to feel sick to my stomach. Then about 40mins into my workout I get dizzy, everything gets blurry and everything starts sounding far away like I'm about to pass out. I thought the first time that I didn't eat enough before working out so the second time I made sure I has something to eat and it still happened. Any ideas why this is happening and how I can prevent it?

you could be dehydrated. on an average day your supposed to get at least 8 glasses of water but when your in an intense workout your supposed to get much more. it could also be that this is your first time having a personal trainer. they could be overexerting you for what your capable of right now. try to talk to them if you feel this is the problem. if it isn't i would schedule an appointment with your doctor because you might have low iron or another deficiency. i hope it works out and remember relax and stop if you feel you are going to pass out because one time when i felt that while i was running on the treadmill at the gym, i closed my eyes the next thing you know i fell off so be really careful.

See a nutritionist and get a better diet. Whatever you're eating isn't providing enough benefit to sustain you, and you are overexerting yourself.

Just exercise on your own until you get your eating plan straightened out. You may need to eat mostly nutrient-dense foods slow-cooked (for example, steel-cut or whole oats cooked in a slow cooker instead of quick oats in the microwave) to provide better basic energy.

Also review your vitamin and mineral regimen and make sure you are taking a good multivitamin, lots of B complex, and drinking 4-6 ounces of water each waking hour of the day.

Good luck!

that your heart rate may be too high, as well as other things i dont know you so i can only guess but if you happen to smoke pot it can also cuase these feelings when you work out as it stores in your fat cells and can be released during exercise
also make sure your plenty hydrated as dehydration also cuases these symptoms make sure counsult this with your doctor and pt
for your doctor will have a better idea of your health level than i

your dizziness could be due to low blood sugar, dehydration, or seisures. But in most cases if your excercising and you feel like this, it is usually due to dehydration. Avoid sugary snacks before working out monitor your glucose, and drink water not gateraide before working out. Gateraide will acutally dehydrate you because of all the sugar it contains.
