There are techniques to stimulate blood cell production. Perhaps you should look into what alternative medicine has to offer for your situation, which is--a great deal. I have relevant information outside the scope of this question. Click on my icon and email me if you're interested, and I'll send you the complete answer. You'll be glad you did. Somebody here keeps getting it unjustly taken off as 'spam and advertisement' because the same information applies to everyone with cancer. And no, I'm not selling anything or getting a dime from anyone. Just want to help. Best of luck.

In Europe they give injections to stimulate the body to produce more red blood cells. This sounds preferable to an IV! sorry I don't know what the injection is called. I am told mountain climbers have used this as well to acclimate to high altitudes. Doctors also use it after a surgery when necessary.Wish I had more specific info for you but maybe this will help.

My wife did 5 years ago. Relapsed a little recently. But counts not low enough for more treatment. You need to be seeing an hematologist or blood disorder qualified oncologist.
Especially if your heritage is Mediterranean, Semitic, or African.
Good luck.

I have given Fe to patients unable to absorb iron frequently and pain has not been a complaint. It can be given I.M. also.
