I am thinking about taking a cruise alone. Would I be completely bored?

I dont know. My sister has always gone with a friend. I took a cruise with my cousin which was virtually like being alone--he sat in the sports lounge 24-7 with the only exception of dinner so I had to do everything alone. I was really bored.

I mean, I enjoyed laying out and having some drinks. But I didnt like doing the shore thing by myself. I kinda like knowing that someone is going to instantly notice if I don't make it back on the boat. And dinner--we had lots of people to get to know at dinner. But for me anytime I travel alone and see something really remarkable, I wish I had someone to share it with. and you are always seeing these cute couples looking all cuddly --especially if you go dancing in the club at night. The photographer is always taking pictures of the couples. And it was really obvious to me how alone I was.

Perhaps a singles cruise where the point is for all of them to be single and interact would be better. Everyone would be in the same boat. I've heard especially the smaller boats--like Windjammer and such--you learn more about the actual people rather than just interacting with 2000+ people. But in my experience, I'd find someone to go with me.

No way! There is always sooo much to do on a cruise. There are events for singles and tons of stuff to do by yourself whether you want to relax by yourself or hook up with a group.

I've cruised as a couple a few times, but the idea of going alone is actually very appealing! I picture sleeping late, spending a leisurely morning at the grand buffet next to the pool with a book... Then going snorkeling or scuba diving, maybe horseback riding... Having a nap in the afternoon, a delicious dinner, the comedy club in the evening. Maybe a club or the piano bar to meet some friends.... and that's only day one. :-)

Go for it! Cruises are fantastic whether you like to relax and take it easy or you prefer to go crazy!

probability is which you've got an particularly good time via your self on the cruise. something to think of roughly, although, is the cost. The cabins are bought for "doubles". the cost for a single is a minimum of 150% of the cost quoted as "according to guy or woman". now and returned, counting on how bought the cruise is, you may might desire to pay 2 persons fare to cruise as a single. there is not any longer this variety of element as a "single cabin" - all are doubles. you're able to sense like a 5th wheel at dinner if there are no single human beings at your table. you probable might have an excellent time even though it would be plenty greater effectual time in case you went which includes your hubby or yet another woman.

NO WAY......There is so much to see and do or not do on board and on land......and you can come and go as you please with no one holding you back.....You will meet plenty of people doing what u like to do best..whether its drinking/getting involved in sports on board/at the pool/ or in the disco....and especially in the dining room. Every club has a bar to sit at and that's where it all can happen. Take a Carnival cruise and you are sure to meet single women if that's what you want.

not if you go on a singles cruise... you would meet a lot of people because that's what they're all there for. if you go on a cruise with mostly couples and families, it might be a little harder to find people to hang out with.
