Dumb question, but I was bored and checked out the McDonald's website. Looked at the menus for other countries like the UK, France, NZ , Switz., ... consists of a Super Mcmuffin - 2 sausage, 2 cheese, egg and bacon, Super QP with bacon, caramel sundae with apple pie to dip with, these are some examples. Hypocrites, complain that we eat too much and are fat, can't find that stuff at our McD's, plus the fact that I vistied Europe a couple of years ago, they do have their share of overweight people.

You know I agree, I saw on Oprah one time she had the camera's go over to France to ask them what they thought about us and our food and they said they thought our food was disgusting. My only question for Oprah was how can you accept the opinion of somone who eats bugs to survive and are breeding lushes (they drink wine with everything, it's wonder they have a liver).

Because... to tell you the truth, America has the highest percentage of population of overweight/obese people in the world. And the biggest factor is the junk food factor which can be seen everywhere.

French people eat lots of unhealthy foods as well, which their diet consist of lots of cream and butter in the ingredients. But because they do not eat snacks and enjoy their food sensibly, they are hardly overweight/obese.

For example, McDonalds, KFC, Dunkin Doughnuts, etc can be seen almost anywhere you go in US. And if you go to France, you hardly see vending machines of snacks and drinks there. We are only human and we are tempted of what we see. Therefore, we consume fast food because they are delicious, fast, convinience, cheap, tempted by the TV ads, etc.

You can find overweight people anywhere in the world, even in Asian countries (I thought that they would all be skinny), etc. To me, as long as you are healthy (eat fast food moderately + exercise regularly + sleep 8 hours/day), who cares what they think?
