I noticed in the recent completed Asian Games in Doha that many women athletes wore the 2 piece attire when they ran on the running tracks. Yet, surprisingly, all the male athletes and some women continue to wear the traditional clothing when they ran on the running tracks, ie, T shirts and shorts. Some are even tightly bounded by their clothings.

What was some women athelete chose to wear the 2 piece while the rest of the athletes wore the usual conventional clothing? What were they hoping to achieve?

2 reasons, mainly

1 - support. women need something to keep their chest in place

2 - arodynamics and comfort. sure, you dont gain a whole lot of time on the lower wind resistance, but it is a bit more comfortable to not have cloth flapping around when you try to run
