Dharmic paths/Aryan religions (Vedic aka "hindu"/Parsi/Jain/Gautam Buddh's followers and Sikhs) are all patriarchal. Patriarchy protects mothers, daughters and sisters. Notice that patriarchal dharmic paths are also kind to animals - these paths are all vegetarian and see Earth as a living being, our mother Earth.
