A man: Greeting and shaking hands. A gentleman always stands up when greeting, being introduced to someone else and shaking hands to someone else.
A woman: also greeting and shaking hands. The thing is that etiquette doesn't demand ladies to stand up when being introduced, shaking hands or greeting someone else.
