Because of archaic laws from the past which may have little relevance today, there are many loopholes in the legal system which allows cases to drag on for years together till it loses it's importance and the criminal's run Scot free. This is well known to everyone especially those with a criminal bend of mind who go on committing one crime after another with impunity. Thus, there is certainly a dire need to reform our laws in line with today's needs so as to bring it on a faster track to deliver justice and instil fear in the minds of all lawbreakers.

Yes, it is the time to reform laws in India as there are lot of crimes happening in India and to stop them we have to change the laws. Change of laws will make India a safe place to live without crimes, as the politicians and leaders are the main back support for criminals.

Law prescribe time limit to file the cases. But once the case is started and in the status of case is change as subjudice and only court has the right to expedite it. If unprecedented delay can be reported to higher court for expediting the case. In criminal cases the Govt is supposed to do this work. And govt is not interested in this matter. Or else Govt can appoint more judges so that cases can be finished
Any way lasps is from Governemnt side
