To the person who said it was disgusting: Please realize that mites are NORMAL, and I can guarantee you have millions of them in your bed and everywhere else in yours house.
Anyways, if you don't want to go to the doc again, see if maybe he can prescribe more. Did you use them exactly the way you were supposed to? If it called to use it 3 times a day or something, and you only used it twice because it was clearing up, you may have not gotten rid of it.
Definitely wash all your things, and if possible maybe get your carpets cleaned. Anything that contains fabric will contain mites. You might even want to consider taking a powerful vacuum to your bed to try and suck some out. Also, pillows are good breeding grounds as well, so if your pillows are really old, replace them.

Well if it's MITES that you have then your house is likely infested with them too. You need to vacuum everything--sofas, carpets, mattresses, and put stuffed animals etc into plastic bags for 2 weeks. Treat everything as you would if it were lice you were treating, because mites are the same.
Possibly it's your pillows since you get this in your eyes. Toss them and get new ones. DItto for any on your sofa. Maybe a good disinfecting overall of your home is in order too, especially your bedroom. Vacuum, dust and get rid of stuffed animals.
Do you have pets? Check to see if your pets aren't what is dragging these mites in from outdoors. Pets bring in more bacteria and stuff than people can possibly imagine.

did you continue to use the drops even after the swollenness went away? did the doctor tell you to keep using the drops for a certain number of weeks? did you wash and change your sheets and pillow cases?
i would also consider getting a hypoallegernic mattress cover. and if you did everything the doctor said then go back and let him know you are experiencing the same problem again.

My mom had a problem like this. The puffiness also spread to other parts of her face, but especially around the eyes. She never found out what caused it because she never went to the hospital. So really, I don't know why I'm answering this question.
My mother didn't take any medication for it.

You're going to need to get rid of the mites in your home. They are in the carpet, in your mattress, pillows, any unwashed items in your home. There are sprays that can be bought to rid your home mattress, carpets etc. once you spray, vaccuum every other day, put plastic covers over your mattress and pillows. The best way to keep your home mite free is to keep your home as dust free, and clean as possible. Go back to your doctor for the medicine.

if it is a mites situation, you need to really clean house and if you have pets, need to bathe/brush them regularly. I would go back to the doctor's office and explain the slow progress of healing. I'm sure the Doctor will be of more help than we can for the Doctor knows more...Good Luck! Here's to wishing for a speedy recovery!

Seeing as the mites went away when you used the drops and came back when you stopped, I would reccomend using the drops! There were probably a few critters left that you didn't kill and they multiply quickly.

You should see a doctor again and continue to use medication.
I had this problem once and it went away eventually, but it was really uncomfortable at times. It's more common than most people realize. I recommend washing and drying your sheets and pillow cases at high temperature to kill the critters hiding there and prevent re-infection.

It's Allergy! You need to change your pillows, and wash all of your bedding, possibly change your mattress, clean everything! They feed on your dead skin that you leave behind on your bedding and furniture! How old are your pillows and mattress?
I have allergies to dust mites! I was told to wash all of my bedding, including the pillows at least once a week.
If you are unsure, ask your doctor how you got them.
