every time we are on the phone after aout 10 minutes he has to go take care of sombuisness the only time i get to talk to him for a long time is on the weekends

Well you certainly have plenty of options to choose from here. One being that he is currently cheating on you for someone else and obviously doesnt love you enough to pay the right amount of attention to you pay close attention to where he goes and ask him what this "business" is. Second, he could very well be an extremely busy person who needs to get things done during the week so that he atleast has time for you on the weekends.

i used to be like that when i was working 12 hour days. Most people think that 8pm is a decent time to call in the evening. When my ex used to call then, I was so tired, that I would almost fall asleep on the phone so I would try to get off so that would not happen. It was purely physical exhaustion in my case. maybe that is the reason with him. You did not say if he was your bf or not. if the weekend conversations are different, then cut him some slack and try to understand what his weekday must be like. maybe too he is on the phone so much at work that in the evening or on personal time he does not want to be on the phone too.

unfortunately he probably has another girlfriend. cell minutes are free after 9. and what business does he have? all hours of the day he can never spare time for u? not that all men are like this but i have a male friend who does the same thing....because he has "weekend girls" and "'weekday girls" he never talks to them except on theiir assigned days. if u truly think he is a good guy and not cheating politely ask what hes getting into...dont be a nag about it but just ask what business he has to attend to. if he gets defensive that is a bad sign. maybe he just dont have time for a girlfriend. either way it sounds like u need more from the relationship, i would dumpp him.

Sounds to me like he is either using a cell phone and doesn't want to run his minutes up during the week but gets his weekend minutes free. If that is not the case then he is with someone during the week that he doesn't want to know he is on the phone, maybe his boss.

Have you ever watched the Greg Behrendt show? He's just not that into you. Trust me. If a guy is always giving you excuses, the interest is just not there. You would be better off finding someone else. This guy might be busy, but if he's just telling you he can't talk and not giving you any legitimate reasons why, then he's just not that interested. If he cares, then he will explain why he is so busy through the week, and not give you the runaround.

I know what you are talking bout,i all ways get the I'm gone call you back after like 10 mins. But don't make a big deal out of it cause if he say that then just say OK and if you get on the phone with someone else and he calls, tell him you will call him back.

Same thing happens to me... at the beginning I didnt know what to think... thought he was cheating... then I realized he has people bugging him all the time. Now I just have an email a day and we talk for hours during weekends... also he is with me those days

Well maybe he is just very busy. I know I have a billion things to do and trying to talk on the phone and complete my tasks can be very distracting sometimes. And if I just give the person my complete attention I won’t get much of anything done.

Sorry to say but you are the side chick and he has a girlfriend or more likely a wife! Have you ever been to his house? Does he get mail at the 'house' that he claims is his house (if you've ever been to his house). I'm sorry that this is the case but don't you think you deserve more than that, what you should do is see if there is any other strange patterens in his behavior so that you don't waste any more of your time.

maybe he just doesnt like talking on the phone during the week cause hes busy ,my boyfriend doesnt like to talk very much during the week, and on the weekend i got him to stay on the phone for 4 hours it was the longest he had ever been on the phone!
