It depends upon what your father and his fiancee would appreciate.

Would they like a material gift, like a toaster? Would they like a sentimental gift, like a picture frame or photo album? Would they like an experience gift -- like a gift certificate to a nice restaurant, couple's package at a spa, hot air balloon ride, weekend at a B&B?

You can always go with something engraved. like a picture frame or a clock with a picture frame....something that they can put a wedding picture in to display the big day.

Another idea is if they're going away, look into upgrading their stay if possible....or a gift card to a nice restaurant close to where they're staying.

A couple of nice glasses and a nice bottle of champagne. Some one did that for my husband and I and it was nice to enjoy the champagne the last night of our honeymoon. You could also go with a nice bottle of wine with a personalized label on it. They make a nice keepsake, and can be put to good use too!
